Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we need it, who sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect

We do not collect card numbers: payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not buy data about you, and we do not sell yours.

3. Legal basis

We use your data to perform the contract you enter when you order, to meet our legal obligations (tax records), and for our legitimate interest in running a secure service. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it first.

4. Who we share it with

  • The directories you order: your product details are submitted to them and published by them. Their own privacy policies then apply to what they publish.
  • Service providers that run parts of our service for us under contract: website hosting and database (United States), email delivery, file storage, and our payment processor (Razorpay). They may use your data only to provide that service to us.
  • Authorities, only when the law requires it.

Some of these providers are outside your country, including in the United States and India. Where the law requires it, the transfer is covered by the provider's standard contractual safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

  • Account and order data: while your account is open, then as long as tax law requires for invoices (8 years in India).
  • Submission email passwords: deleted when the account is handed over to you or when the order closes.
  • Screenshots and emails that prove a submission: 12 months.
  • Free listing reports run without an account: 90 days.

6. How we protect it

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords you give us are encrypted at rest, access is limited to the team member working on your order, and we keep encrypted backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

7. Cookies

We use a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, and a setting that remembers light or dark mode. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add a measurement tool, we will update this page first.

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or give it to you in a portable form, and you can object to any use of it. Write to support@launchingops.com; we answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority; California residents have the rights set out in the CCPA, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

9. Children

The service is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top, and we email account holders about any important change.
